You\u2019ll partner closely with a design lead and cross-functional stakeholders to design the workflows, interfaces, and underlying systems that help us build, iterate, and ship high-quality props at scale. This role is anchored in Content\/Props, with the potential to expand into broader creator tools over time as the team\u2019s needs evolve.<\/span><\/div><div><br><\/div><div><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">If you\u2019re energized by designing for makers, translating technical complexity into clear, approachable UX, and enabling a global community of artists and developers, this role is for you.<\/span><\/div><h3>What You\u2019ll Do<\/h3><li>Partner with your design lead, PMs, and engineers to design and improve props and content creation, including upload, management, publishing, and (where relevant) monetization.<\/li><li>Design intuitive interfaces that support creators with varying levels of technical expertise, from hobbyists to professional developers.<\/li><li>Translate technical concepts into approachable UX through thoughtful flows, clear visual hierarchy, and user-friendly microcopy.<\/li><li>Pair with the community and support teams to understand creator pain points and use those insights to improve tool usability and reduce friction.<\/li><li>Create wireframes, prototypes, and polished mockups across platforms (Desktop, VR, Mobile, Web).Run lightweight usability testing (concept checks, prototype tests) to validate designs early, identify friction, and iterate quickly.<\/li>,<h3>Who You Are<\/h3><li>You have 3+ years of professional product design experience and have worked on shipping experiences, ideally for tools, platforms, or workflow-heavy products.<\/li><li>You have strong UX instincts and know how to simplify complexity without sacrificing capability or clarity.<\/li><li>You\u2019re comfortable working in Figma and collaborating with engineering to bring your designs to life.<\/li><li>You think in flows and systems, understanding how tools fit into broader user lifecycles and full product ecosystems.<\/li><li>You\u2019re familiar with Unity, our SDKs, Blender, or other dev tools.<\/li><li>You\u2019re a proactive collaborator. You listen well, give clear feedback, and are energized by working closely with other teammates.<\/li><li>You care about empowering users, and you&#8217;re motivated by building tools that support creativity, expression, and economic opportunity.<\/li>,<h3>Bonus Points<\/h3><li>Understanding of trust, safety, or moderation systems that support healthy online interactions.<\/li><li>Familiarity with social VR, presence-based UX, or designing for avatar-based expression.<\/li><li>Experience working on cross-platform design (desktop, mobile, VR headsets).<\/li><li>Passion for online communities, emergent social behavior, or the sociology of digital spaces.<\/li>,<h3>Benefits<\/h3><li>Work from anywhere!
