You\u2019ll lead and develop high\u2011performing underwriting teams, shape underwriting and pricing strategy, and drive profitable growth while maintaining strong relationships with brokers and capacity providers.<\/p>\n<h3>About the role<\/h3>\n<div>\n<div>Working closely with the US CEO, Deputy CUO and global underwriting leadership, you\u2019ll play a key role in strengthening <a href=\"https:\/\/himalayas.app\/companies\/cfc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">CFC<\/a>\u2019s market position and continuing to scale one of our most important lines of business.<\/p>\n<p>Amongst other items, you&#8217;ll be:<\/p><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Owning the <strong>P&amp;L and underwriting strategy<\/strong> for the US Corporate Professions portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Driving sustainable growth and profitability through disciplined underwriting, pricing and portfolio management<\/li>\n<li>Leading, developing and inspiring underwriting teams, embedding <a href=\"https:\/\/himalayas.app\/companies\/cfc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">CFC<\/a>\u2019s culture and values<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring performance against budgets, KPIs and service metrics, and addressing underperformance quickly<\/li>\n<li>Strengthening and expanding <strong>broker and capacity provider relationships<\/strong>, including participation in senior\u2011level reviews<\/li>\n<li>Supporting binder renewals and ensuring compliance with underwriting authority and regulatory requirements<\/li>\n<li>Partnering with global leaders to evolve existing products and identify opportunities for new propositions<\/li>\n<li>Acting as a senior referral point for underwriting, coverage and policy decisions<\/li>\n<li>Building <a href=\"https:\/\/himalayas.app\/companies\/cfc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">CFC<\/a>\u2019s external profile as a thought leader in Corporate Professions insurance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h3>About you<\/h3>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Significant underwriting experience within <strong>Corporate Professions<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Proven track record of <strong>leading underwriting teams<\/strong> and delivering profitable portfolio growth<\/li>\n<li>Strong commercial judgement with experience owning or influencing P&amp;L performance<\/li>\n<li>Confident engaging with brokers, capacity providers and senior stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Strategic thinker who combines data\u2011driven decision\u2011making with practical
