As part of this team you fully immerse yourself in data collection, draw insight from analysis, and then zoom out to develop compelling, synthesized recommendations. Taking strategy one step further, you also persuasively communicate your recommendations to senior-level executives, roll-up your sleeves to help drive implementation and check back-in to see the impact of your recommendations.<\/p>\n<p>As a YouTube team member, you will have the knowledge of our products (both ad and consumer), but not limited to &#8211; YouTube, applying technical skills to drive principled business decisions always grounded in data. These will include ad hoc questions from the business, as well as multi-year projects to evolve Global Business Organization (GBO&#8217;s) priorities, strategy, and metrics. You will bring all these skills together in the service of supporting key business decisions. You will also be adept at building cross-functional relationships with various stakeholders and using data to influence strategy and outcomes. You will report to the Senior Business Data Scientist Manager leading YouTube+ efforts and be based in San Bruno.<\/p>\n<div>The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$198,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
