vacant position: <\/p>\n<p><strong>Dean \u2013 College of Design <\/strong> <\/p>\n<p><strong>Academic Year:   (starting from Mid-August 2026) <\/strong> <\/p>\n<p><strong>Instruction Language: <\/strong> \u0625\u0646\u062c\u0644\u064a\u0632\u064a <\/p>\n<p><strong>Teaching Load: <\/strong> 12 credit hours per academic year <\/p>\n<p>The Deans shall report to the Vice President for Academic Affairs on general administrative and coordination functions, related to the various instructional programs and related services offered by AUE. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience Requirements <\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ph.D. in Design related field from an accredited university in the United States of America or an accredited university by an American Accreditation body <\/li>\n<li>5 \u2013 7 years\u2019 experience in academic leadership at the level of Associate\/Assistant Dean or higher at an accredited university <\/li>\n<li>Experience in the development of new programs that meet international standards <\/li>\n<li>Record of professional accomplishment including peer-reviewed publications <\/li>\n<li>Minimum three research publications in Scopus journals in the last five years <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0633\u0645\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0648\u0638\u064a\u0641\u064a <\/strong> <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Instructional Delivery (Teaching Performance) <\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Present research and practice driven teaching and <\/li>\n<li>Adapt to latest pedagogical techniques that stimulate students to inquiry and to encompass a broad and coherent body of knowledge, attaining the skills and competencies through engaging delivery techniques and development of appropriate assessments <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Instructional Management <\/strong>\n<p>Effectively manage the instructional processes <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Assessment and Evaluation <\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Evaluating students\u2019 performance and grading <\/li>\n<li>Provide clear assessment criteria that reflect course content and its learning outcomes <\/li>\n<li>Set expectations to students and avoid cognitive bias <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Curriculum Development and Review <\/strong>\n<p>Contributes to regular curriculum reviewing and improving the existing curriculum for quality and effectiveness <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>For quality:\n<ol>\n<li>Currency and relevancy of the theories and practice in the field <\/li>\n<li>Intellectual rigor appropriate to the level of the degree program the students in the program learning outcomes, curriculum planning, and career planning <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Service <\/strong>\n<p>Participate by working in a task force or workgroup to accomplish assignments or projects such as accreditation, recruitment, research administration, consultation, and service to the university, discipline and community <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Academic Administration <\/strong>\n<p>Provide oversight for the efficient administration of the College <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Academic Program Quality <\/strong>\n<p>Ensure quality teaching, conducive learning environment, and adequate support services for all academic programs offered in the College <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Academic Program \u2013 Sustainability <\/strong>\n<p>Manage the viability and sustainability of the academic programs to meet the needs of the stakeholders and compliance requirements <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Academic Support <\/strong>\n<p>Coordinate and provide adequate resources for faculty, student, and support staff for effective operation of the College
