This is a high-impact position focused on building and operating reliable systems that support our UAE growth, working across infrastructure, integrations, and product delivery. <\/p>\n<p>This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys broad ownership, hands\u2011on technical work, and the opportunity to influence how engineering operates in a growing regional environment. <\/p>\n<h3>What You\u2019ll Work On <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Designing, building, and maintaining backend services and new product features. <\/li>\n<li>Contributing to frontend development to build and improve user\u2011facing features in collaboration with product and design teams. <\/li>\n<li>Managing and improving AWS infrastructure to support scalable and reliable systems. <\/li>\n<li>Building and maintaining integrations with CX platforms and third\u2011party services. <\/li>\n<li>Implementing and managing SMS and email communication systems. <\/li>\n<li>Automating operational workflows and improving deployment pipelines. <\/li>\n<li>Monitoring system performance and responding to production incidents. <\/li>\n<li>Collaborating with cross\u2011functional stakeholders to deliver regional solutions. <\/li>\n<li>Partnering with UAE clients and internal stakeholders to gather technical requirements and design practical, scalable solutions that address real business needs. <\/li>\n<li>Contributing to engineering standards, documentation, and best practices. <\/li>\n<li>Blending software engineering, infrastructure ownership, and systems integration, with a strong focus on delivering dependable customer\u2011facing technology. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What Success Looks Like <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Within the first 30\u201160 days, you\u2019ve taken ownership of key UAE systems (AWS, integrations, messaging) and can ship changes confidently end\u2011to\u2011end. <\/li>\n<li>UAE integrations with internal platforms and third\u2011party services are stable, well\u2011documented, and observable (logging, alerts, and monitoring in place). <\/li>\n<li>SMS and email delivery are reliable, measurable, and easy to troubleshoot with clear visibility into performance. <\/li>\n<li>New features are shipped regularly across backend and frontend with strong quality standards. <\/li>\n<li>Automation improves operational efficiency and reduces manual engineering work. <\/li>\n<li>You communicate technical decisions clearly and collaborate effectively with internal teams and UAE clients. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What You Bring <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong experience in backend software development (Node.js, Python, Go, or similar). <\/li>\n<li>Experience with modern frontend development using React or similar frameworks. <\/li>\n<li>Experience practicing test\u2011driven development (TDD) and writing automated tests as part of everyday engineering work. <\/li>\n<li>Hands\u2011on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and modern DevOps practices. <\/li>\n<li>Experience integrating with external APIs and CX platforms. <\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with messaging systems (SMS gateways, email providers). <\/li>\n<li>Experience with CI\/CD pipelines and automation tooling. <\/li>\n<li>Ability to independently own projects from design to deployment. <\/li>\n<li>Strong debugging and problem\u2011solving skills. <\/li>\n<li>Clear communication and collaboration abilities.
