This role is central to shaping the future of physical distribution, driving operational efficiency, re\u2011engineering processes, enhancing customer journeys, and integrating digital capabilities across all branch formats. <\/p>\n<p>You will act as a strategic architect, transformation leader, and cross\u2011functional influencer who drives branch innovation, people capability uplift, and governance excellence across the full branch ecosystem. <\/p>\n<h3>What You\u2019ll Be Doing <\/h3>\n<h3>1. Branch Network Strategy &#038; Transformation <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and execute a bank\u2011wide branch transformation strategy, aligned to evolving customer behaviours and digital adoption trends. <\/li>\n<li>Optimize the entire branch network through footfall analysis, format redesign, and performance evaluation. <\/li>\n<li>Launch and scale digital\u2011first formats such as smart branches, micro branches, light formats, and full self\u2011service models. <\/li>\n<li>Drive cost optimization, leveraging automation, analytics, and process redesign initiatives. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>2. Operations Optimization <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Right\u2011size staffing using traffic patterns, productivity ratios, and capacity models. <\/li>\n<li>Implement multiskilling, flexible staffing, and cross\u2011training frameworks to strengthen continuity and operational resilience. <\/li>\n<li>Standardize branch aesthetics, layouts, queue management, and workflow design to enhance operational consistency. <\/li>\n<li>Lead branch re\u2011engineering initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and improve end\u2011to\u2011end process quality. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>3. Customer Experience Excellence <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Elevate customer experience across the network by improving NPS, CSAT, CES, and overall service quality. <\/li>\n<li>Strengthen the integration of digital + physical journeys, ensuring seamless movement across channels. <\/li>\n<li>Deploy and scale ITMs, digital kiosks, appointment systems, self\u2011service zones, and other assisted\u2011digital solutions. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure branches meet or exceed 95% DSES Mystery Shopping standards and uphold ISO Quality benchmarks. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>4. Digital &#038; Technology Integration <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Pilot, validate, and scale emerging technologies such as AI\u2011powered service tools, biometrics, and digital documentation workflows. <\/li>\n<li>Optimize the performance, uptime, and customer usage of ATMs, ITMs, kiosks, and other self\u2011service devices. <\/li>\n<li>Accelerate digital migration through staff enablement, targeted campaigns, and improved customer adoption initiatives. <\/li>\n<li>Act as a technology advisor and SME for Retail Banking and branch technology initiatives. <\/li>\n<li>Build and execute capability programs covering service excellence, consultative sales, and digital advisory for branch teams. <\/li>\n<li>Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, accountability, and change readiness across all levels. <\/li>\n<li>Drive change management for all transformation programs, ensuring smooth rollout and staff engagement. <\/li>\n<li>Lead succession planning, job rotations, performance development, and team learning pathways. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure full adherence to regulatory, operational, compliance, and governance frameworks across the network. <\/li>\n<li>Strengthen audit readiness by ensuring alignment to OPs, clearing deferrals, and monitoring branch\u2011level risks. <\/li>\n<li>Present transformation updates, performance reports, and business cases to senior leadership committees. <\/li>\n<li>Manage key stakeholders, external vendors, and industry partners while monitoring market and competitor trends. <\/li>\n<li>Oversee ORM, audit follow\u2011ups, clean\u2011up exercises, and timely resolution of fraud\/AML alerts. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What We\u2019re Looking For <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>A senior transformation leader with deep expertise in branch banking, operations, customer experience, and process re\u2011engineering. <\/li>\n<li>Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data, optimize network economics, and drive large\u2011scale transformation. <\/li>\n<li>Proven success in leading digital integration, technology pilots, and operational modernization. <\/li>\n<li>A people\u2011centric leader who can inspire, influence, and uplift cross\u2011functional teams. <\/li>\n<li>Strong governance orientation with expertise in audit readiness, operational controls, compliance, and risk mitigation.
