This role drives enterprise-wide sourcing strategies, category planning, supplier relationship management, and procurement transformation initiatives. <\/p>\n<p>The VP ensures procurement delivers measurable value through revenue generation, cost optimization, innovation, ESG alignment, and operational excellence. <\/p>\n<h3>Major Areas of Responsibilities <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Strategic Planning <\/li>\n<li>Budget Management <\/li>\n<li>Procurement Operations &#038; Category Management <\/li>\n<li>People Management <\/li>\n<li>Governance <\/li>\n<li>Performance &#038; Transformation <\/li>\n<li>Professional Development <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Required Experience <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role. <\/li>\n<li>Proven track record in leading enterprise-wide procurement transformation, including digitalization and process optimization. <\/li>\n<li>Experience managing large-scale spend portfolios across direct and indirect categories. <\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated success in contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and risk <\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with e-procurement platforms (e.g., Oracle Fusion) and data analytics tools for spend analysis and performance tracking. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Education and Qualifications <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is required. <\/li>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree or MBA is highly preferred, especially with a focus on Procurement, Operations, or Strategy. <\/li>\n<li>Professional certifications such as CIPS, ISM CPSM, or CPP are advantageous. <\/li>\n<li>Strong strategic thinking and business acumen. <\/li>\n<li>Advanced negotiation, communication, and influencing skills. <\/li>\n<li>Deep expertise in category planning, TCO modeling, and market intelligence. <\/li>\n<li>Ability to lead cross\u2011functional teams and drive change management. <\/li>\n<li>Capability to perform effectively in a fast\u2011paced environment. <\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and performance management skills. <\/li>\n<li>High level of integrity and governance orientation. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>At Abu Dhabi Airports, we are shaping the future of aviation in the region.
