Aston Education is working with a thriving and vibrant international school in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. They are looking for a full-time Head of DART (Design, Art and Food Technology) to start in August 2026. <\/p>\n
This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent Teacher of Product Design\/Resistant Materials or a middle leader to develop their leadership skills in supporting colleagues in strengthening their practice. <\/p>\n
The international school is a thriving and popular international school for students aged 3-18. They opened their doors 25 years ago and they have over 3000 students today. They follow the British Curriculum from EYFS to KS5, and they offer excellent modern facilities. The school’s key focus areas include mastery in literacy and numeracy, inquiry-based learning and critical thinking and problem-solving. <\/p>\n

As a Head of DART (Design, Art and Food Technology), you’ll work across KS3, KS4 and KS5 and develop and implement policies and practices which reflect the school’s commitment to high achievement through effective teaching and learning. <\/p>\n
You\u2019ll use data effectively to identify students who are underachieving and create and implement effective plans of action to support those students. <\/p>\n
You\u2019ll teach Product Design and Resistant Materials across KS3, KS4 and KS5 and prepare the students for IGCSE and A level exams. <\/p>\n
