The company is building a fully compliant and scalable crypto platform designed to serve both retail and institutional clients under the UAE regulatory framework. <\/p>\n<p>As part of the licensing process, the firm is assembling a core leadership team and is looking for a <b>Chief Financial Officer \/ Finance Manager <\/b> \u2013 a key role responsible for building the financial function, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting long\u2011term business growth. <\/p>\n<h3>What This Role Is Unique <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Build the finance function from scratch in a regulated crypto exchange. <\/li>\n<li>Work directly with the UAE regulator (SCA) as part of the licensing process. <\/li>\n<li>Join at an early stage with strong growth ambitions and market potential. <\/li>\n<li>High level of ownership across financial strategy and operations. <\/li>\n<li>Direct impact on business scaling, investor relations, and compliance. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0633\u0624\u0648\u0644\u064a\u0627\u062a <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Financial Strategy &#038; Leadership <\/b>: Define and execute the company\u2019s financial strategy in line with UAE regulations; lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across fiat and crypto operations; support strategic decision\u2011making, partnerships, and investor relations; build and lead the finance team, establishing a culture of accountability and transparency. <\/li>\n<li><b>Financial Operations &#038; Reporting <\/b>: Build scalable financial infrastructure and processes from the ground up; oversee accounting operations across fiat and digital assets; ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with IFRS and UAE requirements; maintain reconciliation between on\u2011chain and off\u2011chain transactions; establish internal controls, reporting standards, and financial governance. <\/li>\n<li><b>Regulatory &#038; Compliance Oversight <\/b>: Act as the main financial point of contact with the SCA and other regulators; ensure compliance with licensing requirements and financial regulations; support audits, regulatory reviews, and reporting obligations; work closely with Compliance on AML\/CFT and financial controls. <\/li>\n<li><b>Risk &#038; Capital Management <\/b>: Develop frameworks for capital management, reserves, and financial stability; monitor exposure to market, liquidity, and operational risks; ensure proper segregation of client and company funds; address risks related to crypto assets, including volatility and custody. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What We Are Looking For <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>10+ years of experience in finance (banking, fintech, or crypto). <\/li>\n<li>At least 3 years in a regulated financial institution or licensed environment. <\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of UAE financial regulations and SCA requirements. <\/li>\n<li>Professional certification: CPA, ACCA, CFA (or equivalent). <\/li>\n<li>Deep knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and compliance frameworks. <\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of crypto markets, blockchain, and digital asset accounting. <\/li>\n<li>Proven leadership experience and ability to build teams from scratch. <\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. <\/li>\n<li>Fluent English (Arabic is a plus). <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Nice to Have <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working directly with SCA. <\/li>\n<li>Background in crypto exchanges or digital asset platforms. <\/li>\n<li>Experience with treasury and custody solutions (e.g., Fireblocks, Copper). <\/li>\n<li>Involvement in licensing or regulatory approval processes. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Location &#038; Conditions <\/h3>\n<p>  Abu Dhabi, UAE \u2013 on\u2011site role.<br \/>  UAE residency required (or willingness to relocate).<br \/>  Competitive compensation, discussed individually. <\/p>\n<h3>Why Join Us <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Opportunity to build and lead the finance function from day one. <\/li>\n<li>Direct exposure to regulators and executive leadership. <\/li>\n<li>Join a high\u2011growth crypto business entering a regulated market. <\/li>\n<li>Work in a fast\u2011moving environment with real ownership and impact. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Important Note <\/h3>\n<p>This role is subject to regulatory approval.
