This is a compliance-first role, suited for a strong Head of Compliance who can build and embed a robust governance and control environment from the ground up. <\/p>\n<p>You will work closely with the Group CRO to implement both group-level and UAE-specific governance frameworks, while acting as the primary liaison with the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA). <\/p>\n<p>This role combines hands\u2011on compliance execution with regulatory leadership, ensuring the entity operates in full alignment with UAE regulations and global standards. <\/p>\n<h3>\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0647\u0627\u0645 \u0627\u0644\u0623\u0633\u0627\u0633\u064a\u0629 <\/h3>\n<h3>Compliance &#038; Governance Leadership <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of the UAE compliance framework across AML\/CTF, sanctions, and regulatory requirements. <\/li>\n<li>Work closely with the Group CRO on group governance and UAE governance alignment. <\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and risk management frameworks. <\/li>\n<li>Partner with Internal Audit to ensure effective control testing and remediation. <\/li>\n<li>Support the compliance teams in Australia and Singapore, as required. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Financial Crime &#038; AML Oversight <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee AML\/CTF program including KYC\/CDD\/EDD, transaction monitoring, sanctions, and investigations. <\/li>\n<li>Act as an escalation point for suspicious activity and approve STR\/SAR filings. <\/li>\n<li>Maintain and enhance customer risk rating frameworks. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Risk Management <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct enterprise and compliance risk assessments; implement mitigation strategies. <\/li>\n<li>Work with the business lines on managing and updating risk and compliance management measures. <\/li>\n<li>Advise business and product teams on compliance and risk implications of business activities. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance risks are clearly reported to senior management and Board on a regular basis. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Policy, Controls &#038; Training <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and compliance manuals. <\/li>\n<li>Drive a strong compliance culture through training and guidance. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure alignment with global best practices and internal standards. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Virtual Asset Compliance <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee Travel Rule functions and VASP counterparty due diligence. <\/li>\n<li>Monitor on\u2011chain activity and wallet risks using blockchain analytics tools. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with VARA\u2011specific requirements including market conduct and consumer protection. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Regulatory Liaison (VARA) <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Act as the primary point of contact with VARA. <\/li>\n<li>Lead regulatory engagement including licensing, inspections, submissions, and ongoing compliance. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting, disclosures, and incident notifications. <\/li>\n<li>Maintain Responsible Individual obligations under VARA. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Experience &#038;
