We&#8217;ve hit product-market fit with explosive growth during the past 12 months.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">We need a true <strong>Frontend Lead <\/strong>who stays deep in the code but also guides the frontend team (currently 2\u20133 devs, growing).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">This is a <strong>heavily hands-on role <\/strong>(80\u201390% coding) with light people leadership (1:1s, code-review ownership, tech direction, mentoring). Future growth into Head of Frontend is realistic for the right person.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>What You\u2019ll Own<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Own the entire frontend codebase (Angular 17+, TypeScript, Ionic\/Capacitor, Firebase)<\/li>\n<li>Ship our native Android app via Capacitor (and add iOS down the road)<\/li>\n<li>Turn Figma designs into responsive, performant, pixel-perfect UIs<\/li>\n<li>Architect reusable components and maintain a clean, scalable codebase<\/li>\n<li>Drive performance optimization (rendering, lazy loading, bundle size, API efficiency)<\/li>\n<li>Set up and maintain testing strategy (unit with Jest, e2e with Playwright\/Cypress)<\/li>\n<li>Run feature-flag and A\/B testing flows<\/li>\n<li>Lead code reviews and enforce best practices<\/li>\n<li>Run weekly 1:1s, help unblock the team, and keep frontend velocity high<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate directly with backend, product, and design on a daily basis<\/li>\n<li>Keep us up to date with modern Angular\/Ionic ecosystem practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>What You Bring<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6+ years frontend development, at least 3\u20134 years deep with modern Angular working on high-traffic consumer platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in cross-platform frameworks &#8211; ideally Capacitor\/Ionic.<\/li>\n<li>Strong TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx (or similar state management)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent feel for product &amp; design \u2013 you can open Figma, spot inconsistencies, and implement pixel-perfect UIs without hand-holding<\/li>\n<li>Performance optimization experience (Lighthouse 95+, bundle analysis, lazy loading, memoization, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Testing discipline (Jest + Testing Library, Playwright\/Cypress)<\/li>\n<li>Experience mentoring or technically leading small frontend teams (formal or informal)<\/li>\n<li>Fluent English and strong communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Reliable internet &amp; hardware, able to work \u226535h\/week with decent overlap with UTC+8 (Singapore time)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Nice-to-Have<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven track record shipping production Ionic\/Capacitor apps to App Store &amp; Play Store<\/li>\n<li>Previous work with financial services APIs or regulated environments<\/li>\n<li>Firebase expertise (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Hosting)<\/li>\n<li>Lottie \/ advanced animations<\/li>\n<li>CI\/CD with GitHub Actions or similar<\/li>\n<li>Playwright for component &amp;
