Be ready to make your mark a top company, in an exciting &#038; dynamic industry. <\/p>\n<h3>Job Purpose <\/h3>\n<p>The individual is responsible for defining, owning and scaling the bank\u2019s API\u2011led propositions across Global Trade, Treasury Services and Tokenized \/ Digital Asset\u2011enabled offerings. <\/p>\n<p>The role owns the strategic product vision, commercialization, monetization and enterprise\u2011wide adoption of API\u2011based capabilities, positioning APIs and Open Banking as a core distribution and engagement layer that embeds the bank into client ecosystems, enables real\u2011time financial flows and supports emerging use cases across the current and future state of transaction banking. <\/p>\n<p>The role acts as a strategic bridge between business, technology, digital transformation and regulatory bodies, ensuring that all API\u2011led products are client\u2011centric, scalable, secure and fully compliant with UAE and international regulatory frameworks. <\/p>\n<h3>Key Accountabilities <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to the development and execution of GTx and Wholesale Banking API and Open banking strategy across domestic and international locations. <\/li>\n<li>Define and own the API product vision and long\u2011term roadmap aligned with Global Transaction Banking, Treasury and Tokenization strategy. <\/li>\n<li>Position API and Open Banking capabilities as core differentiator for payments, liquidity management, escrow services and Next Gen propositions <\/li>\n<li>Identify collaborate-to- create opportunities with Fintech partners for innovative use cases for Cash and Trade propositions. <\/li>\n<li>Drive harmonization and consistency across product lines to create a coherent, scalable API and Open Banking stack for all cash and Trade Product verticals. <\/li>\n<li>Drive collaboration across business, technology and control functions. Ensure alignment with FAB policies, frameworks and operating standards. <\/li>\n<li>Represent the function effectively to senior management, external and internal stakeholders <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Job Context <\/h3>\n<h3>Product Vision &#038; Strategic Ownership <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Define and own the API product vision and multi\u2011year roadmap aligned to Global Trade, Treasury and Tokenization strategy. <\/li>\n<li>Position APIs as core channels for payments, liquidity, escrow, trade, and digital asset\u2011enabled offerings. <\/li>\n<li>Identify and prioritize embedded finance, ecosystem\u2011led growth and tokenization\u2011driven opportunities through API and Open Banking infrastructure <\/li>\n<li>Drive consistency and scalability across product lines to deliver a cohesive enterprise API proposition. <\/li>\n<li>Own the full API product lifecycle from ideation and design through launch, scale and ongoing optimization. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure API products are commercially viable, reusable, secure and client\u2011centric. <\/li>\n<li>Balance speed\u2011to\u2011market with long\u2011term resilience, operational robustness and regulatory expectations. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Client, Platform &#038; Ecosystem Enablement <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Enable and scale direct integration of bank capabilities into corporate ERP, TMS, digital platforms and partner ecosystems. <\/li>\n<li>Engage strategic clients and partners to co\u2011create and scale API\u2011led use cases <\/li>\n<li>Act as senior product representative in client, partnership and industry engagements. <\/li>\n<li>Define pricing, packaging and usage\u2011based commercial models for API products. <\/li>\n<li>Track and demonstrate value across CASA growth, fee income, client acquisition and retention. <\/li>\n<li>Leverage adoption analytics and performance insights to refine investment priorities and product strategy. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Governance, Risk &#038; Regulatory Alignment <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure API products are compliant with client money, safeguarding, operational resilience and data requirements. <\/li>\n<li>Maintain alignment with Central Bank, FSRA \/ ADGM and other applicable regulatory frameworks for developing fit-for-purpose propositions in these jurisdictions <\/li>\n<li>Embed risk controls, transparency and reporting by design within all API solutions. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Leadership &#038; Stakeholder Management <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Act as a trusted senior partner to GTB, Treasury, Digital Assets, Technology, Risk and Operations. <\/li>\n<li>Provide clear, commercially grounded updates to the Managing Director and senior management forums. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>General Responsibilities <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Promote API reuse and standardization to reduce duplication and accelerate delivery. <\/li>\n<li>Lead cross-functional groups to align API strategy with enterprise goals. <\/li>\n<li>Maintain high standards of API documentation. <\/li>\n<li>Contribute to budget planning and resource allocation for API engineering. <\/li>\n<li>Provide training and enablement on API best practices. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications &#038;
