Overview <\/h3>\n

The Head of Engineering is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the engineering department for Automotive\/ Lifestyle & Luxury products. <\/p>\n

  1. Set the strategic direction for the engineering department and ensure that it aligns with the company’s overall goals. <\/li>\n
  2. Manage the engineering budget and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. <\/li>\n
  3. Collaborate with international brands and jointly execute projects with our foreign acquired companies. <\/li>\n
  4. Hire, train, and develop engineering staff. <\/li>\n
  5. Oversee the engineering process from conception to deployment. <\/li>\n
  6. Ensure that engineering projects meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. <\/li>\n
  7. Represent the engineering department to senior management and external stakeholders. <\/li>\n
  8. Plan, design, and oversee engineering projects, ensuring they’re completed on time, within budget, and with the expected quality and reliability; identify and mitigate risk. <\/li>\n
  9. Demonstrate an innovative, brave, and \u201cWe can do it\u201d attitude when facing a new engineering project or development. <\/li>\n
  10. Take necessary actions to deliver the project on time and with the expected quality and reliability. <\/li>\n
  11. Lead the engineering team across different projects and ensure alignment with the company’s OEM after OEM business model (Fast, Easy to Plug and Play). <\/li>\n
  12. Collaborate with other departments (Sales, Design, SCM) and the GM to reach company objectives by following its business model. <\/li>\n
  13. Empower the engineering team by fostering accountability, responsibility, customer centricity, and excellence. <\/li>\n
  14. Set the necessary processes and procedures within the Engineering department. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Qualifications <\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Master’s degree in engineering or a related field. <\/li>\n
    • 15 to 18 years of experience in engineering leadership roles in the automotive industry, preferably with experience in UAE. <\/li>\n
    • Strong technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and software engineering. <\/li>\n
    • Proven ability to manage and motivate engineering teams. <\/li>\n
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. <\/li>\n
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. <\/li>\n
    • Experience with automotive regulations and standards. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Skills <\/h3>\n
        \n
      • Proficient in 3D CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA). <\/li>\n
      • Experience with automotive design and manufacturing processes. <\/li>\n
      • Knowledge of automotive regulations and standards. <\/li>\n
      • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. <\/li>\n
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
