What differentiates BDO as an employer is our focus on relationships. <\/p>\n<p> <\/br><\/p>\n<h3>About the Role <\/h3>\n<p> <\/br><\/p>\n<p>BDO UAE is looking for a Manager to lead their dynamic Risk Advisory team in UAE. <\/p>\n<p> <\/br><\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibility Areas: <\/h3>\n<p> <\/br><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To lead their dynamic Risk Advisory team in UAE. <\/li>\n<li>Assist in managing the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders. <\/li>\n<li>Build strong internal relationships within the BDO Risk Advisory Services Division and across other Service Divisions. <\/li>\n<li>Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring staff. <\/li>\n<li>Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff. <\/li>\n<li>Contribute to people\u2019s initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training Risk Advisory professionals. <\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the maintenance of an educational program to continually develop personal skills of staff. <\/li>\n<li>Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <\/br><\/p>\n<h3>Key Attributed Areas: <\/h3>\n<p> <\/br><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good communication skills \u2013 both written and verbal. <\/li>\n<li>Highly refined planning, leadership, relationship building and analytical skills. <\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment is required. <\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills \u2013 with positive &#038; enthusiastic attitude. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <\/br><\/p>\n<h3>Key Experience Parameters: <\/h3>\n<p> <\/br><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Minimum\u00a08 <\/b>\u00a0years of relevant work experience in a similar profile. <\/li>\n<li>A bachelor\u2019s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent. <\/li>\n<li>Must possess a relevant professional certification (<b>CIA, CRMA, CPA, CA, ACCA <\/b>). <\/li>\n<li>Strong technical knowledge of the IIA\u2019s Global Internal Audit Standards, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks (COSO, ISO 31000), and Internal Control Frameworks <\/li>\n<li>Minimum 8 \u2013 10+ years\u2019 experience across multiple risk advisory services such as Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, Policies and Procedures development, Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), External Quality Assessment and Compliance Management <\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of local regulations (ADAA, CMA \/ SCA, CBUAE, DFSA, ADGM FSRA) is preferred <\/li>\n<li>Data Analytics and hands\u2011on experience using technology \/ data analysis tools on audit and advisory projects <\/li>\n<li>2\u00a0\u2013\u00a03+\u00a0years of managerial experience in leading people and strategies. <\/li>\n<li>Prior consulting experience including leading audit and advisory projects across multiple business areas. <\/li>\n<li>Experience across multiple industries such as <b>banking <\/b>\/ financial services, real estate, hospitality, education and public sector \/ UAE government.
