The role will be deployed on ground in country for fast-paced developments and need to be globally mobile. The individual will be based in Abu Dhabi with heavy travelling to project locations. <\/p>\n<h3>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Project manage the delivery and transition ensuring all work streams (business and asset) are effectively mobilized to deliver the business case. <\/li>\n<li>Optimise value through the timely mobilization of the project \u2013 ensuring the right cross-functional tradeoffs are made. <\/li>\n<li>Drive cost\u2011effective use of external consultants and contractors. <\/li>\n<li>Conduct proactive cross\u2011functional stakeholder engagement and communication. <\/li>\n<li>Drive the effective use of an integrated project schedule. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure an effective and realistic resource plan is established including proactive mobilisation of on\u2011location project team. <\/li>\n<li>Lead assigned project team resources from functions towards successful teamwork. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure there is clear accountability for all project deliverables. <\/li>\n<li>Proactively bring forward issues and opportunities for leadership attention ensuring these can be addressed early while the opportunity to do so is largest. <\/li>\n<li>Drive clear change management control for scope changes ensuring impact is understood across all functional areas before changes are pursued. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure project reporting and documentation are well maintained. <\/li>\n<li>Assess potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project success and compliance with safety regulations. <\/li>\n<li>Enable proactive engagement of head office and ensure their functional expertise is used throughout the project. <\/li>\n<li>Drive proactive preparation of material for decision makers in support of the MD. <\/li>\n<li>Build strong relationships with stakeholders enabling proactive identification of issues and support in resolution. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>People Management Responsibilities <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead assigned project team resources from internal departments. <\/li>\n<li>Drive and participate in the recruitment and selection process of additional project team members. <\/li>\n<li>Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolution among team members or stakeholders to maintain a collaborative work environment. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>KNOWLEDGE &#038; SKILLS <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering or a related field.
