This highly visible position partners directly with affiliate management teams, providing strategic and pragmatic legal counsel across a diverse set of commercial, operational, and compliance matters. Success requires expert business and legal judgment, advanced multitasking, and the ability to thrive independently within a fast\u2011paced, multicultural environment. <\/p>\n<h3>\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0647\u0627\u0645 \u0627\u0644\u0623\u0633\u0627\u0633\u064a\u0629 <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as a core member of Affiliates\u2019 management and Intercontinental Legal teams, contributing legal insight to business strategy and operational execution. <\/li>\n<li>Advise on all legal aspects regarding AbbVie\u2019s on\u2011market and pipeline products, with particular focus on anti\u2011kickback, antitrust, regulatory matters, advertising\/promotional compliance, local manufacturing, new business models, distributor management, and commercial negotiations. <\/li>\n<li>Provide substantive legal guidance to Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Regulatory Affairs, ensuring risk mitigation and compliant growth. <\/li>\n<li>Develop, review, and negotiate complex agreements, including third\u2011party vendor, distributor, pharmacy, consulting, and service contracts, optimizing for business outcomes and legal protection. <\/li>\n<li>Provide clear advice to business clients and senior legal management on local laws focusing on areas of promotion, patient support, payer access, go\u2011to\u2011market strategies, and scientific exchange. <\/li>\n<li>Support in\u2011country establishment transformations and work to unlock new business opportunities. <\/li>\n<li>Proactively identify, assess, and address legal risks; anticipate issues and create actionable, forward\u2011thinking solutions for Affiliates\u2019 management. <\/li>\n<li>Collaborate cross\u2011functionally, facilitating compliance with law, corporate policies, and AbbVie\u2019s Code of Conduct. <\/li>\n<li>Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels, translating legal requirements into practical business advice. <\/li>\n<li>Monitor and interpret changes in legislative and regulatory environments, keeping business partners informed and prepared. <\/li>\n<li>Drive legal strategy and support in cross functional meetings including MLOR meetings (Medical\/Legal\/OEC\/Regulatory) and ACIF meetings (Affiliate Compliance Insight Forum). <\/li>\n<li>Design, deliver, and oversee legal training programs tailored for affiliate teams. <\/li>\n<li>Manage relationships with external legal counsels to ensure cost\u2011effective, high\u2011quality support. <\/li>\n<li>Resolve legal issues through skilled negotiation and project management; keep legal leadership informed of progress and developments. <\/li>\n<li>Promote AbbVie\u2019s values and a strong culture of ethics, compliance, and diversity. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Additional Responsibilities <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Advise on digital health, technology, and real\u2011world evidence initiatives, navigating novel regulatory frameworks. <\/li>\n<li>Lead Affiliates\u2019 crisis management and incident response from a legal standpoint. <\/li>\n<li>Act as primary legal contact for cross\u2011border matters affecting both Affiliates, ensuring harmonized guidance and execution. <\/li>\n<li>Identify emerging legal trends and develop innovative strategies to support business growth and compliance. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications <\/h3>\n<h3>Basic Qualifications <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Law degree from a reputable university; international legal qualifications are advantageous. <\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 10 years\u2019 relevant experience, ideally in pharmaceuticals or a highly regulated sector. <\/li>\n<li>Extensive legal experience in the UAE or Saudi Arabia is required. <\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated strategic leadership, with a proven ability to advise and influence senior management in complex scenarios. <\/li>\n<li>Ability to prioritize and manage multiple matters independently with minimal supervision. <\/li>\n<li>Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; adept at working within multicultural and cross\u2011functional teams. <\/li>\n<li>Sound commercial judgment and creative problem\u2011solving capabilities. <\/li>\n<li>Commitment to equal opportunity and fostering diversity (Minorities\/Women\/Veterans\/Disabled). <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\u0645\u0639\u0644\u0648\u0645\u0627\u062a \u0625\u0636\u0627\u0641\u064a\u0629 <\/h3>\n<p>AbbVie is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to operating with integrity, driving innovation, transforming lives and serving our community.
