Lead with responsibility and accountability for: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead, Mentor and Develop a team of professionals on strategic sourcing <\/li>\n<li>Assign the new projects \/ RFPs within the nontechnology procurement team for HR services, Facilities management marketing, professional services. <\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost effectiveness, and reliable service delivery. <\/li>\n<li>Understand business requirements; ensure CPD function performs to its expected outcome in terms of quality, quantity, vendor \/ supplier satisfaction, end user satisfaction and bottom-line contribution. <\/li>\n<li>Resolve stakeholder queries and concern. <\/li>\n<li>Explore new and innovative ideas for automation, modernizing and simplifying the process along with cost effective and value-added approach. <\/li>\n<li>Manage the procurement workflow and ensuring the team is issuing purchase orders accordingly <\/li>\n<li>Optimize the procure to pay process to enhance efficiency <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Key Result Areas: <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure adherence to organization procurement policies &#038; ethical standards <\/li>\n<li>Negotiation skills on non tech projects <\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement category strategies of assigned non-tech spend areas <\/li>\n<li>Prepare and present regular reports on procurement metrics, spend analysis and performance. <\/li>\n<li>Lead and mentor a diverse global procurement team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. <\/li>\n<li>Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and career growth. <\/li>\n<li>Set performance goals and KPIs for team members, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. <\/li>\n<li>Assign responsibilities, manage workload and ensure the team achieves key performance indicators (KPI) <\/li>\n<li>Lead initiatives to reduce costs, improve accuracy and enhance operational efficiency through releasing purchase orders in a timely manner. <\/li>\n<li>Develop and Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for transactional procurement activities. <\/li>\n<li>Provide wide visibility across the bank of Procurement Policy and Centralized Procurement Department\u2019s role so that the third-party risk is effectively managed; <\/li>\n<li>Identify areas for automation and process improvement in control and management of third party spend; <\/li>\n<li>Lending Support to Internal Stakeholders in case of escalation related to Contract disputes whether leading to legal, penal or termination actions; <\/li>\n<li>In case of the grievance amounts to allegation of fraud and\/or corruption, in consultation with VP \u2013 Global Procurement &#038; Operations Lead , shall refer the matter to the Head of Fraud Prevention &#038; Intelligence for investigation and resolution in accordance with the policies and procedures established by that Office; <\/li>\n<li>Compile, verify accuracy and submit reports in accordance with agreed deliverables with VP \u2013 Global Procurement &#038; Operations Lead. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Operating Environment, Framework and Boundaries, Working Relationships <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Reporting to VP \u2013 Global Procurement &#038; Operations Lead \u2013 Centralized Procurement, Corporate Affairs. <\/li>\n<li>Team work, punctuality, innovation, willingness to take more responsibility. <\/li>\n<li>Increase of process efficiency, value added service. <\/li>\n<li>Oversee the supplier selection and evaluation processes as well as the development of suppliers <\/li>\n<li>Continuous adherence and improvement of process in operational procurement. <\/li>\n<li>Adherence to Procurement Policy, Bank\u2019s operating process and procedures must maintain confidentiality of banks and vendor\u2019s information, documents, etc. <\/li>\n<li>Escalation of internal misconduct, breach of code of ethics, confidentiality, etc. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Problem Solving <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Handling of customer complaints concerning the non compliance of with SLAs, TAT. <\/li>\n<li>Meet the end users and explain the importance of each line of iProc and train the users <\/li>\n<li>Coordination of user support for eProcurement Systems. <\/li>\n<li>Identify strategic risks in specific sourcing (internal\/ external supply market risks); <\/li>\n<li>Ability to ensure compliance to Procurement Policies and to find solutions. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Decision Making Authority &#038; Responsibility <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Authority to set team goals, delegate tasks, and make staffing decisions within the procurement team, including hiring, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities. <\/li>\n<li>Responsibility for setting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and determining team objectives aligned with overall company procurement goals. <\/li>\n<li>Authority to recommend or implement procurement process improvements, including digitalization and automation tools, to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs. <\/li>\n<li>Responsible for managing the end-to-end transactional procurement function, ensuring efficient purchasing processes and compliance with company policies and international regulations. <\/li>\n<li>Accountable for driving cost reduction initiatives and achieving procurement savings. <\/li>\n<li>Accountable for team training, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative, results-driven culture within the procurement department. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Knowledge, Skills and Experience <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Business Graduate with preferably Procurement Certifications like CIPS, SPSM etc.;
