What You\u2019ll Do:<\/h3>

    Lead and manage a team of engineers, fostering collaboration, technical excellence, and career growth.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Own the delivery of engineering projects, ensuring high-quality, timely execution.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Drive technical architecture, scalability improvements, and performance optimizations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Define team goals, KPIs, and success metrics, aligning them with business objectives.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Promote engineering best practices, including security, testing, and operational excellence.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA, DevOps) to ensure seamless execution.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    What You\u2019ll Bring:<\/h3>
      \n
    • \n

      Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent and 6+ years of relevant experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Experience with e-commerce and with specific experience of Shopify a plus!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Proven ability to lead and manage technical teams, drive execution, and deliver results.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Extensive experience in cloud computing (AWS, GCP, or Azure), microservices, and distributed systems.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • Proven ability to lead teams with a DevOps mindset, cultivating a culture of collaboration by leveraging agile practices, automation, and CI\/CD to drive software quality and delivery speed.<\/li>\n
    • \n

      Experience with incident management, reliability engineering, and monitoring strategies.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Excellent communication skills, with the ability to align engineering initiatives with business needs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Demonstrated ability to recruit, mentor, and grow engineering talent.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Strong grasp of software architecture, API design, and scalability challenges.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>
