More than 87,000 real estate professionals, including over 30% of the WSJ Real Trends top 100 agents in the United States, use us to run and grow their business.<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3>The Role<\/h3>\n<p>As a <strong>Staff Software Engineer<\/strong>, you will be a key contributor on a cross-functional team, building the foundation of our AI-first platform. You\u2019ll take ownership of major features and services, drive meaningful improvements to our architecture, and collaborate closely with product, design, and AI teams to deliver high-impact outcomes for our customers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3>What You\u2019ll Do<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<div>\n<li>\n<p>Contribute to key architectural decisions and support a large scale re-imagining of our Site Generation and Site Builder Experience<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Design and build cloud-native APIs, services, and front-end experiences used across our platform to support building Websites<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered workflows to Site Building experiences<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Write clean, testable, scalable code across the stack<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/div>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What We\u2019re Looking For<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<div>\n<li>\n<p>Passion for building in an AI-augmented environment<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Familiarity with modern AI tools; experience developing AI-driven solutions is a plus (Claude Code is a must)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>5+ years of professional experience in full-stack engineering (leaning backend), ideally having supported a product from MVP to scale in rapid iterations<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Strong skills in JavaScript\/TypeScript, <a href=\"http:\/\/node.js\/\" rel=\"nofollow ugc noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Node.js<\/a>, and React<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Experience with scalable microservice architecture (AWS preferred)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Solid command of GraphQL, event-driven systems (Kafka\/SQS), and distributed databases<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Track record of delivering high-quality features in rapid prototyping environments and integrating with feedback quickly<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>While you will have Product and Design partners, we value strong communicators and collaborators; able to work with limited product and design guidance, and operate independently in chasing well defined outcomes<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Customer-first mindset with the ability to empathize with internal and external stakeholder needs<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/div>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Tech Stack<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<div>\n<li>\n<p>Frontend: React, Tailwind, Apollo, SingleSPA<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Backend: Node.js, TypeScript (microservices), Python ETLs<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>AI: LangChain, LangFuse, OpenRouter, Mastra, Claude Code<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Data: PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Lambda<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Messaging: Kafka, SQS<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/div>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Join us in shaping the future of real estate<\/h3>\n<div>The real estate industry is in the midst of a seismic shift, and the future belongs to those who break new ground.
