Milliman’s Dubai Health Practice is looking for an actuarial professional with more than 6 years of experience, who has a strong desire to expand their actuarial skills, is committed to obtaining Fellowship, and has a career goal of becoming an actuarial consultant.

Educational Requirements

• An undergraduate degree pursuing actuarial science, mathematics, or another major with quantitative coursework.
• A minimum of 10 actuarial exams with a recognized professional actuarial organization – preferably Associate level reached.
• Outstanding academic record.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.).

Experience And Skill Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of actuarial experience, with at least part of the experience in health-related work.
• Superior math aptitude and strong analytical ability.
• Experience with reserving and pricing techniques for health insurance products.
• Working knowledge of actuarial concepts specific to health systems, such as utilisation vs cost, clinical coding systems, Diagnosis-Related Groupers, value-based healthcare, etc.
• Client facing experience, including drafting and reviewing of formal actuarial reports as well as presentation of technical content to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal).
• Good organisational skills.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure.
