Job Description
As an Air Traffic Management Consultant, you will work on new concepts of operation for airports, airspace, flight path designs, conduct aeronautical assessments, and advise on ORAT. You will participate in project delivery, develop business, and support team members with your air traffic management expertise.
This role aims to help Egis’s Aviation practice maintain and expand its presence in airport and airspace operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Understanding the fundamentals of airport and terminal area operations
- Conducting safety assessments and writing safety cases
- Performing aeronautical studies
- Leading ATM studies on airfield operations, CNS systems, and ATC infrastructure requirements
- Reporting, presenting results, and formulating recommendations
- Coaching and educating colleagues in air traffic management
- Coordinating with the wider Egis ATM community
- Working in multidisciplinary teams with policy makers, data analysts, and other aviation consultants
- Engaging with clients such as ANSPs, airports, civil aviation authorities, and property developers
- Traveling throughout the Middle East
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in air traffic management
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills and professional networking abilities
- Preferred experience with airspace design
- Experience with safety assessments
- Enjoy sharing knowledge with colleagues
