Application Support Specialist – Data Application

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a relevant technical position within large organizations.
• Banking background is preferred.

Responsibilities include:

• Application production support within the ITIL framework.
• Application troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance.
• Application performance tuning and optimization.
• Resolving tickets with quality and within SLA.
• Proactive monitoring and incident analysis.
• Workflow maintenance and configuration.
• Reporting tools expertise: MS Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, QlikView.
• Debugging report and dashboard issues.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases: Sybase IQ, Oracle, MSSQL, SAP HANA, PostgreSQL, Hive.
• Proficiency in Hive queries.
• Experience with Windows and Unix commands.
• Knowledge of ETL tools like Informatica Power Center / BDM is a plus.
