Overview

Assistant Manager – Tax at Dicetek LLC is primarily responsible for managing tax compliances (Corporate Tax, BEPS/Pillar II, ESR, CBCR, VAT) for the Group UAE operations consisting of businesses under Real Estate, Hospitality, Retail, Entertainment etc.

Responsibilities

  • Corporate Tax & BEPS/Pillar II
    • Managing all tax registrations, grouping, deregistration for required Group entities on the tax authority portal
    • Preparing tax return (CIT, BEPS/Pillar II, VAT) with complete reconciliation and backup data and audit pack to complete the tax compliance
    • Provide all working supporting documents to Tax Consultant and answers all the queries and observation of the Tax Consultant
    • Processing timely Tax Payments
    • After reconciliation of Tax returns, correcting all adjustments in oracle.
    • During FTA audit, arranging all the documents required by the tax authority and assisting Tax team to answer the queries; if any.
    • Generate the tax report and do the source transactions analysis and reconciliation.
    • Providing comments for the variances and reasons of discrepancies between tax working and GL accounts; if any.
    • Detailed review of all the accounting transactions nature and ensure that the correctness of Tax returns work papers and reports are available in a limited time
    • Filing Tax returns via FTA portal and providing the Group summary to Tax team and Business Management team.
  • Economic Substance Requirement
    • Managing ESR compliances (ESR Notification, report) for all entities of UAE, Bahrain, BVI for the group Country by Country Reporting
    • Managing the compliances of CbCR, CBC Notification for the group
    • Managing the master file compliance for the Group

Qualifications

  • Qualified CA/CPA

Experience

  • Minimum 6 to 8 years in similar or related role, preferably with real-estate background

Skills Required

  • Good MS Office skills especially in Excel.
  • Good communication, presentation, and inter-personal skills.
  • Strong numerical analytical skills.
  • Hands on experience of working on an ERP system (Oracle EBS/Fusion preferred)
  • Should be able work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Should be able to work under pressure under tight deadlines.
  • Should be able to work extra hours if it is required to meet deadline.
