Overview

We have an urgent requirement for a Software Engineer (Backend Development) – Lead Java SpringBoot Microservices with AWS + GitHub for a banking client in Dubai, UAE.

Requirements include strong experience with Java SpringBoot Microservices, AWS cloud native development and deployment, and GitHub repository management (GitHub Actions and advanced GitHub security). Banking domain experience is a MUST.

The first round is an online test on Gorilla for 1.5 hours. Candidates ready to proceed should apply.

Technical skills include expertise in Java SpringBoot Microservices; AWS cloud native development (IAM authentication integration, Lambda, EKS, SNS, Secrets Manager, ElastiCache integration); GitHub repository management, GitHub Actions, and advanced GitHub Security; plus hands-on with NoSQL databases, JUnit, Design Patterns, Hibernate, Kafka integration, AI-integrated development, application security (authentication, authorization, encryption, session management), DevOps tools & technologies, and agile practices.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements and formalize the technical approach for the implementation.
  • Follow Test Driven Development and implement middleware/REST services.
  • Ensure maximum code coverage through JUnit tests.
  • Address penetration testing scenarios and ensure secure, quality code.
  • Deliver bug-free application releases by maintaining high quality standards across the codebase.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Java SpringBoot Microservices.
  • Strong experience with AWS cloud native development and deployment (IAM, Lambda, EKS, SNS, Secrets Manager, ElastiCache).
  • Proficiency in GitHub repository management, GitHub Actions, and advanced GitHub Security.
  • Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases, JUnit, Design Patterns, Hibernate, Kafka, AI-integrated development, and application security (authentication, authorization, encryption, session management).
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools, technologies, and Agile practices.
