Job Purpose
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Developer to identify, nurture and secure new business opportunities, engage with prospects (potential clients), and deliver impactful product demonstrations. We’re looking for a hunter; a high-energy, self-starting Business Developer with extensive SaaS sales experience. You will own the full sales lifecycle, from cold outreach to closing targeting small, mid-market and enterprise clients.
This is a strategic global role for someone who thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced SaaS environment and wants to make a visible impact on revenue growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Market Research and Opportunity Identification
Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential business opportunities aligned with azakaw’s strategic objectives.
Analyze global industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to build a pipeline of prospective clients.
Qualify potential leads and prioritize outreach based on business potential and strategic fit.
Understand buyer personas (compliance, ops, finance, legal) and pain points across segments. - Prospect/Client Engagement
Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients, understanding their needs and aligning our SaaS offerings to deliver value.
Facilitate ongoing communication with prospects and clients to ensure satisfaction and identify additional areas for business growth.
Represent azakaw at client meetings, industry events, and conferences as needed. - Sales and Demos
Lead product demonstrations and presentations, tailoring each session to address specific prospect/client needs and showcase the benefits of azakaw’s SaaS solutions.
Prepare and deliver high-impact proposals, presentations, and other documentation to support the sales process.
Own the full sales cycle from initial contact to closed/won including contract execution.
Drive consultative discovery calls to understand prospect needs and align azakaw solutions accordingly.
Enhance and craft compelling proposals and pitch decks with internal support from marketing and compliance SMEs. - Deal Closing and Account Management
Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, demo, proposal, negotiation, and close.
Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve win-win outcomes for both the client and azakaw.
Maintain clean, organized records in HubSpot; forecast accurately, and report to leadership weekly.
Negotiate with confidence and close deals independently, mid-market and enterprise.
Manage ongoing client relationships post-sale, identifying new business opportunities within the client base.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience (5+ years) in business development or sales roles, specifically within the SaaS industry .
Strong understanding of SaaS business models, including subscription-based sales and client success strategies.
Hunter-Mentality: We are looking for a self-motivated sales individual/closer who thrives on outbound prospecting, relentless follow-ups, and turning cold leads into signed deals.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota as an individual contributor
Strong understanding of Strategic selling with perspective methodologies.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Compliance and GRC experience preferred
Fluent in English & Arabic
Financial services experience is a plus.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
