Position Overview:

As part of our Calculation Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering engineering solutions for complex projects. Your responsibilities include:

• Performing structural analysis of steel structures;
• Conducting mechanical calculations on piping and pressure vessels;
• Flow analysis, pressure drop calculations, and pump sizing;
• Designing steel connections (welded/bolted) through analytical methods and hand calculations;
• Performing lifting analysis of skids, modules, and equipment;
• Writing technical reports and calculation notes in English, adhering to Classification Societies Rules and Regulations;
• Reviewing, checking, and verifying structural drawings and supporting documentation per client requirements;
• Assisting project engineers during preliminary studies, procurement, and installation phases.

Candidate Profile

We seek candidates with:

Educational background:

Industry experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in structural design for Offshore O&G;

Technical skills:

• Knowledge of FEA software such as ANSYS, FEMAP, or equivalent is a major plus;
• Understanding of industry standards (e.g., AISC, API, ASME) and classification rules (e.g., ABS, DNV, Norsok) is advantageous;
• Technical knowledge of steel fabrication and material selection according to relevant codes;
• Experience with high-pressure piping design (5k/10k/15k psi) is a major plus.

Software proficiency:

• Experience with structural analysis software like STAAD PRO or similar is mandatory;
• Proficiency in detailed steel connection design using Mathcad/Excel;
• Familiarity with technical drawing and drafting software such as AutoCAD or similar.
