A leading, private, multidisciplinary healthcare institution in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Medical Officer /Medical Director to oversee its clinical governance, operational excellence, and medical leadership functions. This senior leadership role is ideal for a seasoned physician who combines strong clinical expertise with proven administrative and strategic capabilities.

About the Role

The Medical Director will serve as the primary clinical leader of the hospital, ensuring the highest standards of quality, patient safety, and medical practice across all departments. This role requires the ability to guide diverse clinical teams, implement effective governance frameworks, and collaborate closely with executive leadership to support ongoing clinical and operational development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic clinical leadership and oversight to all medical departments.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Lead clinical governance, patient safety programs, and performance enhancement strategies.
• Support medical staff development, credentialing, and continuous professional training.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on clinical operations, service expansions, and program development.

Candidate Requirements

• Medical specialty in Radiology, Anesthesia, or Surgery is mandatory .
• Minimum 5–7 years of leadership experience , preferably in a hospital or large healthcare setting.
• Proven track record in medical administration, clinical governance, and multidisciplinary leadership.
• Strong communication, decision‑making, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to high clinical standards and patient‑centered care.
