Position Overview

AKH Hospital is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Endocrinologist to join its advanced medical team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in diagnosing and managing complex endocrine disorders with a strong commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert diagnosis and treatment for endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid, adrenal and pituitary conditions.
• Lead outpatient and inpatient endocrine services ensuring high standards of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated patient management.
• Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to clinical education and training.
• Participate in hospital‑wide quality improvement and research initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and documentation standards.

Qualifications & Licensing

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent).
• Specialist Certification in Endocrinology (DM, Board Certification, etc.).
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Consultant Endocrinologist.
• Valid UAE license or eligibility for HAAD/DHA/MOH licensing.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
