Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Fetal Medicine to join a multidisciplinary maternal-fetal care team in one of the UAE’s top hospitals. The role focuses on managing high-risk pregnancies, performing advanced fetal diagnostics, and guiding families through complex prenatal decisions with compassion and precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed fetal assessments using ultrasound Doppler and genetic screening
• Diagnose and manage fetal anomalies, growth restrictions and high-risk conditions
• Provide antenatal counseling and coordinate care plans with obstetricians and neonatologists
• Perform or assist in fetal interventions (e.g. amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling)
• Collaborate with radiologists, geneticists and NICU teams for integrated care
• Contribute to clinical audits, research and CME programs
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory standards and hospital protocols

Qualifications & Experience

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution
• Board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology with a subspecialty in Fetal Medicine
• Fellowship in Maternal‑Fetal Medicine or equivalent training
• Minimum 5 years post‑specialization experience in a tertiary care setting
• Eligible for DHA or DOH Consultant licensure
• Strong diagnostic counseling and procedural skills
