As a Paediatric Rheumatology Consultant at a renowned healthcare facility, you will be responsible for providing expert diagnosis and treatment for children with rheumatologic disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and collaborate with a team of highly skilled medical professionals to provide the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with suspected or diagnosed rheumatologic disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient, including medication management and lifestyle recommendations
  • Conduct regular follow-ups and monitor the progress of patients’ treatments
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support regarding their condition and treatment options
  • Collaborate with other medical specialists to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients with complex needs
  • Participate in research projects and stay updated on current developments and advancements in the field of paediatric rheumatology
  • Provide mentorship and supervision for junior medical staff and students

Qualifications

  • Medical degree from a recognized institution
  • Board certification or equivalent in Paediatric Rheumatology
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Paediatric Rheumatology Consultant
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience working in a culturally diverse environment is preferred
  • The candidate must have received Western training or education
