Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Ophthalmologist to join a leading eye care team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing and managing a full spectrum of pediatric eye conditions, with a strong commitment to child‑centered care and surgical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat pediatric eye disorders including strabismus, amblyopia, congenital cataracts, and refractive errors.
• Perform pediatric ophthalmic surgeries and laser procedures as needed.
• Conduct comprehensive eye exams tailored to infants, children, and adolescents.
• Collaborate with orthoptists, pediatricians, and other specialists for multidisciplinary care.
• Educate families on treatment plans and long‑term visual development.
• Participate in clinical audits, CME activities, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Medical degree with specialization in Ophthalmology
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology (preferred)
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑specialization experience in pediatric eye care
• DHA eligibility or licensure preferred
• Arabic‑speaking preferred, but open to strong profiles regardless of gender or language

Desirable Attributes

• Experience with pediatric visual screening programs and school outreach
• Strong teamwork and patient education skills
