Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience with modern HPC/AI networking or GPU application acceleration.
  • 10 years of experience in customer-facing technical roles and 5 years managing technical teams in matrixed environments.
  • 10 years of experience in global team management.
  • 5 years of experience selling AI full-stack solutions and infrastructure (GPUs/TPUs).
  • 5 years of experience working with ML algorithms and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Jax).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and specific AI services like Vertex AI and Cloud AI Platform.
  • Successful track record of leading high-performing teams in fast-paced environments and managing complex executive stakeholder relationships.
  • Expert proficiency in cloud AI, data technologies, cloud enterprise architecture, networking, and systems architecture.
  • Ability to deliver polished business and technical pitches to C-suite and board levels.
  • Excellent communication skills with a record of establishing technical credibility with partners and delivering presentations to executive stakeholders.

The Global Director of Technical Sales for AI Infrastructure is a key executive leadership role that will oversee the integration of sales strategies that span regions and advance inter-connectivity across sales areas in alignment with business needs. You will bring expertise, experience, and thought leadership to enable Google Cloud customers globally to leverage the value of Google AI Technology and Infrastructure (GPUs/TPUs).

In this role you will identify, own, and lead teams through complex, multi-dimensional pieces of work across several products and markets, working cross-functionally to maximize business impact for our customers. You will architect and deliver bespoke technical blueprints to meet the unique and complex requirements of strategic clients, ensuring innovative and effective implementation of advanced use cases. Personally engaging as the executive technical sponsor on the most critical strategic opportunities, you will present to C-suite and board-level executives. This role acts as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through their transformation journey, facilitating CXO relationships with top global AI and infrastructure customers.

This role oversees the integration of sales strategies across regions and advances inter-connectivity for AI Infrastructure CE professionals globally, ensuring Google Cloud customers leverage AI Technology (GPUs/TPUs).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $230,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build and implement sophisticated technical sales strategies across multiple organizations, driving product adoption, expansion, and campaign implementation.
  • Architect bespoke technical blueprints for strategic clients and support sales teams in deploying AI offerings and accelerators (TPU/GPU) at AI native and enterprise startups.
  • Direct global AI Infrastructure CE professionals across regional structures, aligning strategies and workstreams while personally sponsoring critical strategic opportunities with C-suite executives.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team by setting goals, fostering collaboration, and investing in individual growth through regular development discussions.
  • Oversee cross-functional collaborations to ensure a “One Google” approach, resolving strategy misalignments and influencing customer priorities and roadmaps.
