We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director – Projects Controls and System Development to join the Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates . This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of AED 66000 – 66500 . The Director will play a critical role in overseeing the development and implementation of project controls systems and processes ensuring efficient and effective project delivery across the organisation. This role demands a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of project management methodologies cost control risk management and systems development. The successful candidate will lead a team of professionals and contribute significantly to the successful execution of key infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of project controls systems processes and procedures ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organisational objectives.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of project schedules budgets and risk registers.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on project controls matters to project teams and senior management.
• Monitor project performance against established baselines and identify potential deviations.
• Develop and implement corrective actions to address project control issues and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Manage a team of project controls professionals providing mentorship and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate project controls systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 9 years of experience in project controls with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing project controls systems and processes.
• Expertise in cost control risk management and change management.
• Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
