We are looking for a Director.RBG – Private Banking Front Office.41.Retail Banking Group to join Mashreq Corporate & Investment Banking Group .

Overview

To provide a portfolio of HNW clients with personalized service to develop close relationships, achieve maximum profitable contribution for the client and bank, and retain their loyalty and respect. The role requires enhancing Private Banking sales / revenues and promoting the cross‑selling of bank products to all existing clients.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize the potential value of the client base through the delivery of Private Banking products and services and actively identify new customers.
  • Communicate with HNW clients to structure advice based on client needs.
  • Recognize opportunities to partner with other bank professionals to service client needs and maximize bank revenues.
  • Maximize profitability from the Private Banking base while countering competition from other providers offering alternative investment / wealth management opportunities.
  • Safeguard the bank from potential loss / AML fraud and ensure ethical behavior.
  • Ensure ethical professional behavior at all times before, during, and after sales to protect the bank’s reputation.
  • Enhance market profile and awareness.
  • Achieve revenue goals, sales & portfolio growth targets across a range of products & services (Investments, Term Deposits, CASA balances, TCM, FX trading, share financing, etc.).
  • Acquire ‘new to bank’ HNW clients.
  • Maintain a superior customer service experience for clients including pre‑empting issues and proactive servicing.
  • Minimize customer attrition.
  • Maintain proactive client contact.

Qualifications

  • University Graduate.
  • Strong numbers, selling & investments/Financial Market Knowledge.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
  • Relationship Management & Networking skills, extrovert / amiable personality.
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role with another bank or financial services company in UAE; certification from the Securities & Investment Institute (SII) for selling investment is required.
  • Behavioral competencies relevant to client relationship management.
