Dubai HSE Officer: Safety & Compliance Leader

Black & Grey HR is hiring an HSE Officer for a leading manufacturing company in Dubai UAE. This is a critical role requiring hands-on experience in maintaining the highest standards of health safety and environment across our 24/7 shift operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong background in UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
– Support the development implementation and monitoring of HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
– Conduct regular safety audits risk assessments and inspections to identify hazards assess risks and implement corrective measures.
– Provide training sessions on HSE protocols emergency response and risk management to employees across various departments.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of health safety and environmental responsibility.
– Lead incident/accident investigations perform root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
– Conduct internal audits as per ISO 45001/14001 standards and support the management during external audits.
– Promote a strong culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement on site.
– Maintain accurate records of safety inspections incident reports and compliance documentation for internal and external audits.
Requirements- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical or Chemical).
– Certifications: NEBOSH International General Certificate (all 3 levels completed) IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) Certified Firefighting training ISO 45001 or 14001 Lead Auditor certification.
– Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as an HSE Officer in a continuous process industry (e.g. Manufacturing Oil & Gas Chemicals FMCG Pharmaceuticals) operating on a 3-shift system.
– Immediately available – Either on cancelled Visa/Visit visa. Previous work experience in the UAE specifically in Dubai is mandatory.
