Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
- 2 years of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- 2 years of experience with one or more of the following languages: SQL, R, Python, or C++.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with fraud and abuse dynamics in online platforms.
- Experience with threat intelligence, anti-abuse, security, network analysis, fraud detection.
- Experience with or understanding of machine learning systems and concepts.
- Experience managing stakeholders and cross-functional partnerships.
- Familiarity with large language models.

You can balance the short-term requirements we face while demonstrating the ability to see the big picture and make quantitatively based long-term recommendations accordingly.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Analyze data sets using advanced statistical methods to understand the impact of abuse to the YouTube ecosystem and provide data-driven insights and recommendations for effective abuse prevention and enforcement.
- Master technical concepts and systems to deliver meaningful results using them and communicate technical results and methods clearly.
- Investigate product vulnerabilities and abuse trends by performing investigations using various data sources and contribute strategy and development of new workflows against additional known vectors of abuse.
- Partner closely with stakeholders and partners in engineering, product, policy and legal to drive anti-abuse solutions involving and impacting various cross-functional areas.
