Overview
Exciting Opportunity – QA Engineer (Web & Mobile | Angular / Node.js)
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Contract: 3-month contract with potential extension
Start Date: Immediate – candidates with a notice period of 2 weeks or less will be prioritized.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts for web and mobile apps.
- Perform manual testing of UI, APIs, and end-to-end workflows.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
- Collaborate closely with developers to resolve defects and identify issues early.
- Conduct regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across browsers and devices.
- Ensure full test coverage and maintain traceability to user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Recommend process improvements and implement QA best practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of QA experience in both manual and automated testing.
- Proven expertise testing Angular web applications and Node.js APIs.
- Strong knowledge of testing tools: Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Postman (or similar).
- Experience with mobile testing on Android/iOS (Appium preferred).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control.
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs, backend testing, and PWA/hybrid apps.
- Exposure to performance and security testing.
- ISTQB or other QA certification is an advantage.
