Job Description Fortinet Engineer Location: Dubai, UAEEmployment Type: Full-TimeRole Overview

ITHR Technologies Consulting LLC is seeking a Fortinet Engineer to design, implement, and manage Fortinet security solutions across enterprise networks. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of firewall security, network infrastructure, and threat prevention while ensuring compliance with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Fortinet Security Solutions

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot FortiGate firewalls, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiSIEM .
• Implement VPN (IPsec, SSL), SD-WAN, and Next-Gen Firewall policies .
• Optimize FortiAuthenticator and FortiToken for multi-factor authentication .
• Monitor security logs, alerts, and network traffic for threat detection and mitigation .

Network & Infrastructure Security

• Design and deploy secure network architectures using Fortinet solutions.
• Implement and maintain firewall rules, VLANs, and access control policies .
• Conduct network security audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network security incidents .

Security Monitoring & Incident Response

• Analyze and respond to security threats, vulnerabilities, and attack patterns .
• Work with SOC teams to implement proactive security measures.
• Develop incident response plans and security best practices .

Technical Support & Documentation

• Provide Level 2/3 support for firewall and security-related issues.
• Create detailed technical documentation for configurations and policies.
• Train internal teams on Fortinet security best practices .

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSIEM, FortiAuthenticator .
• Expertise in firewall configuration, IPS, IDS, and web filtering .
• Proficiency in VPN setup (IPsec, SSL), SD-WAN, VLANs, and network security policies .
• Knowledge of intrusion detection, malware analysis, and DDoS protection .
• Familiarity with Cisco, Palo Alto, and cloud security (AWS, Azure) is a plus .

Certifications (Preferred):

• Fortinet NSE4 (Required) .
• NSE5, NSE7+ (Preferred) .
• CompTIA Security+, CCNP Security, or other security certifications .

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team .
