The Position
The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst is responsible for providing accurate timely and comprehensive reporting analysis insights financial modelling and forecasting to accurately depict our financial performance. The role reports directly to the Finance Director.
Your Responsibilities
- Management reporting; Provide regular reporting of key financial indicators
- Continuously improve/create new reporting to meet business needs
- Monthly/quarterly/yearly forecast and any longterm business plan
- Coordinate with all functions to collect input model forecast data and present to stakeholders
- Perform all required variance analysis (actuals vs budget/forecast/previous year gap analysis among various forecast versions). Ensure timely continuous and exhaustive understanding of brand performance. Proactively track numbers to maintain a high level of data quality and understanding anticipate and prioritize subjects of business importance
- Financial systems: Collaborate with Center of Excellence/shared service center teams and local businesses to ensure data quality
- Support other functions: provide support to other departments when needed (supply chain pricing Insights etc.)
- Projects: In case of changes of process / new projects be the key person representing the FP&A to design and deploy changes. Ensure effective change management
- Stay informed about industry best practices including tools and processes as they relate to data engineering data science and data analysis
Who You Are
- You hold a University degree in Finance Accounting or related field. Post graduate degree and/or MBA are preferred and Qualified CA/CPA or equivalent are desirable
- You built 5 7 years of professional work experience in FP&A roles in large and complex organizations (e.g. big 4 multinational companies FMCG)
- You are logical thinker have advanced analytical skills are able to quickly grasp critical paths among numerous (ir)relevant factors and are able to prioritize swiftly and correctly
- You bring advanced communication skills are a team player and are able to collaborate with various stakeholders (finance / nonfinance teams UAE Leadership team HQ/region teams)
- You built experience with financial information systems (SAP/BI etc.) and are an advanced Excel user
- You are proactive have high level of energy are a problem solver result oriented and adaptable to working in a changing environment
- You are fluent in English
