Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to engage with clients in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience influencing executive-level clients and stakeholders and driving results in complex, agile environments.
  • Experience managing Tech Partners or Tech Units, with an understanding of MarTech, Cloud, and AI solution scaling.
  • Experience leading in sales or operations management, strategic planning, and systems thinking.
  • Understanding of the Spanish Latin America (SPLA) digital advertising industry landscape.
  • Ability to align strategies and deliver customer business outcomes.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and driving outcomes in a highly matrixed environment.

About the job

In this role, you will lead a team of professionals who are collectively responsible for the development and delivery of core programs, infrastructure, and support to empower media, influencer, creative, and technology agencies or partners to operate as an extension of Google’s own salesforce.

You will drive impact by engaging directly with external customer stakeholders specifically HoldCo regional C-Level leaders, tech unit leaders and by collaborating closely with a variety of internal sales and cross-functional teams, including sales pods, local agency teams, GCAS, Marketing, and GTM. You will be a leader, adept at managing complex strategy and go-to-market (GTM) initiatives, as well as navigating executive stakeholder relationships both internally and externally. You will have to establish business success through agencies, partners, and indirect channels, and be highly fluent in the evolving and competitive landscape of digital advertising across Spanish Latin America.

The Global Business Organization (GBO) is the engine that powers Google’s full ecosystem of products and services to help customers and partners succeed and grow. GBO includes the commercial arms of Ads sellers, business development teams, and customer services and support, as well as overlay programs that enable coordinated engagement with Google’s most complex and important customers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Build and sustain a high-performing team of Agency, Partner Managers, coach them on skills and capabilities to be effective in their role and deliver high-impact, growth-driven work.
  • Drive strategic partnerships with key regional agencies and HoldCos by focusing joint business development, fostering communication channel, unlock and accelerate agency business, product adoption and digital maturity while ensuring internal agency strategic alignment while serving as the main point of contact for regional C-level leaders.
  • Drive partnerships with tech units and new partners (Indies and within HoldCos) by focusing on joint technical plans (JTP), manage the lifecycle of these plans to build Google product and solutions expertise, drive a unified Google MarTech strategy by partnering closely with Google Marketing Platform (GMP) and Cloud.
