Head of Business Development (UAE & KSA)
Location: Dubai, UAE (with frequent travel to KSA)
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer
Overview
The Head of Business Development will lead and execute the company’s growth strategy across the UAE and KSA markets. This role requires a dynamic leader with strong commercial acumen, regional market insight, and proven experience in building partnerships and expanding market presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development and market expansion strategy for the UAE and KSA.
- Build, manage, and maintain a strong and qualified sales pipeline to ensure sustainable long-term growth.
- Establish and strengthen relationships with senior government officials, regulators, developers, and corporate partners to enhance RMJM’s market position.
- Contribute to the preparation of business cases, proposals, and financial models to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide regular pipeline forecasts, performance reporting, and market intelligence updates to the CEO.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, design, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment between commercial strategy and delivery capability.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments, providing actionable insights to leadership.
- Represent RMJM at industry events, conferences, and networking platforms across the GCC.
- Identify and highlight companies in the UAE and KSA that require prequalification.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical or business administration field.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in business development, commercial strategy, or sales leadership within the GCC.
- Experience within architecture, design, or built environment sectors is preferred.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and securing large-scale partnerships in the UAE and KSA.
- Strong understanding of regional business practices, legal frameworks, and cultural nuances.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Fluency in English and Arabic required.
