HR Director (Relocation to Africa)

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director (HRD) to lead the HR function for our African project. This is a strategic leadership role requiring relocation to Africa (Continent)

The ideal candidate will have strong HR leadership experience in Africa and a solid understanding of fast-growing, operational environments. FMCG experience will be considered a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the HR strategy aligned with business objectives
• Lead workforce planning and organizational structuring
• Design and execute talent management and succession planning strategies
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives
• Manage compensation & benefits frameworks in line with local regulations and market standards
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and HR best practices
• Drive employee engagement, performance management, and leadership development
• Act as a strategic partner to senior management

Requirements:

• Proven experience as HR Director / Senior HR Leader
• Strong HR experience within Africa (mandatory)
• FMCG industry experience is a strong plus
• Solid background in talent management, compensation & benefits, and HR strategy
• Strong knowledge of labor legislation and HR compliance
• Willingness and readiness to relocate to Africa
