Job Description

Provides computational support to animal and poultry genomics projects, focusing on data processing, GWAS pipelines, and basic downstream analyses.

Minimum Qualification

• Ph.D/MSc in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field.
• Working knowledge of Python or R.
• Familiarity with genomics tools is preferred.

Preferred Qualification

• Ph.D/MSc in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field.
• Working knowledge of Python or R.
• Familiarity with genomics tools is preferred.

Expected Skills

• Perform sequencing QC, alignment, and variant calling.
• Assist with GWAS and genotype–phenotype association workflows.
• Generate summary statistics, plots, and basic visualizations.
• Maintain scripts and documentation.
• Support Research Associates with data interpretation.
