Directly opposite to The Dubai Mall, the iconic Burj Khalifa, 10 minutes walk to the Dubai Metro Station and within a few minutes’ drive to DIFC, World Trade Centre and just 15 minutes’ drive from Dubai International Airport, Swissôtel Al Murooj is located in downtown Dubai, one of the city’s favoured destinations for business or leisure.

Responsibilities

• Paint and plaster work touch ups as directed by your superior.
• Replacement of lamps and bulbs throughout the building.
• To assist any tradesman to whom assigned in the performance of his task.
• To carry out minor repairs as directed.
• To keep all work areas and Engineering offices tidy and clean.
• Always responds quickly to guests’ complaints ensuring courteous, professional service.
• To learn and carry out fire brigade duties when assigned.
• To complete the personal daily job record, time book accurately and keep ready for inspection.
• To carry mini preventive maintenance in rooms.
• To repair/replace broken windows, doors and locks.
• To repair and fix damaged shelving and furniture when necessary.
• Ensure that all food safety standards/HACCP are maintained and implemented in line with the company policy and municipality requirements.
• Adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures Manual.
• To carry out any reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Diploma or training in general maintenance works
• Previous experiences within the plumbing, carpentry, painting or electrical field
• Good command of English
• Ability to find fault and rectify systems are essentials
