Job Description
Lead-Quantity Audit Manager responsible for governance, compliance, stakeholder management, and team oversight to ensure cost controls and financial governance across all post‑contract activities.
Managerial Responsibilities
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal cost control frameworks, audit protocols, and financial governance across all post‑contract activities.
- Stakeholder Management: Interface with Development, Finance, and Project Delivery teams to align cost control objectives with project and corporate goals.
- Team Oversight: Lead and mentor cost engineers or quantity surveyors assigned to post‑contract works, ensuring timely reporting and issue resolution.
Direct Functional Responsibilities
- Cost Monitoring & Reporting: Track actual costs vs. budget across all packages, prepare monthly cost reports, and flag deviations with root‑cause analysis.
- Change Management: Evaluate and validate contractor claims, variations, and change orders, ensuring alignment with contract terms and budget impact.
- Forecasting & Cash Flow: Maintain rolling forecasts and cash flow projections based on committed and anticipated expenditures.
- Final Account Closure: Lead the reconciliation and closure of final accounts, ensuring all contractual obligations are met and documented.
- System & Data Integrity: Maintain cost data accuracy in ERP or cost management systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Candy, or bespoke platforms).
