The Light Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating tower cranes and various light construction equipment to lift, move, and position materials and machinery on-site. This role requires skillful handling of equipment, adherence to safety protocols, and effective coordination with ground personnel.

Beyond operation, the operator performs routine equipment inspections, reports any malfunctions, and collaborates with supervisors to plan lifts and equipment usage efficiently. Strong attention to detail, focus, and good communication skills are vital to ensure safe and productive operations.

Minimum Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. 1–3 years’ experience operating light machinery or in similar roles.
3. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor inspections and troubleshooting.
4. Comfortable working outdoors and lifting up to 50 lbs.
5. Good communication in English; UAE/local regulations or licensure (e.g., RTA Light Manual) may be required.
