About the job – Mechanical Engineer for CAPEX Reduction Area

The requirement is to hire experienced site personnel who knows the safety procedures and have expertise in the Aluminum Smelter Brownfield area:

• Qualified education (degree/diploma) in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in contract and project management.
• Managed and supervised various electrical construction projects at the site.
• Lead cross-functional teams of electricians, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring efficient coordination and high-quality workmanship.
• Collaborate closely with contractors engineering and project teams to evaluate and implement upgrades, modifications or replacements of electrical / automation equipment at site.
• Knowledge of Reduction Potlines and associated equipment.
• Knowledge of Crane systems.
• Can handle and manage the safety and quality of assigned projects at the site.
• Reviews and advise on fabrication, shop drawings and material submittals by contractors.
• Conducting regular site inspections to verify electrical & mechanical installation quality and progress.
