Stantec is looking to hire a Planning Engineer with experience in water Drainage and Storm water Networks in Dubai.

Responsibilities
- Monitor day-to-day work progress for the Project and provide accurate weekly and monthly reports; communicate potential progress delays or project slippages.
- Track and analyze field results; compare planned progress to actual progress and report differences to the lead project manager.
- Develop and update the Project Execution Plan in association with the resident engineer, setting targets for activities and ensuring compliance with DM specifications and requirements.
- Study the impact of alternative approaches on project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree from a recognized university with a civil engineering background.
- Not less than 10 years of experience in design and construction programming/planning of similar projects.
- Experience as a Planning Engineer (in association with the resident engineer) to develop the Project Execution Plan and milestone sequences.
- Ability to estimate timescales and costs using specialized design software packages (Primavera).
- Proven experience in monitoring progress and producing accurate weekly/monthly reports, and in tracking and analyzing field results.
About the Role
The major Planning Engineer role is to monitor day-to-day work progress, produce weekly/monthly reports, and communicate progress delays. He will set activity targets, ensure adherence to specifications, and study alternative approaches as needed.
