We are looking for experienced Planning Engineers – Water Projects with a strong background in drainage, sewerage, irrigation lines and water infrastructure in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• The Planning Engineer, in association with the resident engineer, shall develop the project execution plan, considering proper engineering techniques and milestone sequences.
• Set targets for activities based on each project activity and ensure it meets Dubai Municipality specifications and requirements.
• Estimate timescales and costs using specialized design software packages (Primavera).
• Monitor day‑to‑day work progress, provide accurate weekly and monthly reports, and communicate potential delays or slippages swiftly.
• Track and analyse field results.
• Compare planned and actual progress continuously, reporting any differences to the lead project manager.
• Study the impact of alternative approaches.

Experience on Dubai Municipality Water Projects

Preferred experience in similar projects with Dubai Municipality.

Requirements

• Relevant degree from a recognised university and civil engineering background.
• Not less than ten years of design and construction programming/planning experience in similar projects.
• Work location: Dubai, UAE.
