Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience as a producer or production manager.
- Experience in the full production lifecycle – from pre-production through post production. Experience working with filmmakers, musicians, creative directors, VFX artists, or animators.
- Experience in Machine Learning, or generative media tools.
- Experience using tools for managing schedules, budgets, and resources (e.g., ShotGrid, Airtable, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in multiple entertainment verticals (e.g., Film and Advertising, Animation and Music, etc.).
- Experience producing within a technical/research environment while translating between technical and creative partners.
About the job
As a Lead Producer for CrossCut Engagements, you will serve as the main, day-to-day production contact for our creative collaborations with our partners. You will lead the integration of cross-functional timelines and drive production plans for using our generative AI tools to revolutionize professional film/TV, animation, music, advertisement, LBE, and VFX pipelines.
You are a strategic partner and trusted advisor to senior leadership, responsible for addressing ambiguous, high-risk problems by working closely with our research and creative technologist teams developing new tools and methods to transform and shape the future of generative media.

Responsibilities
- Be a day-to-day producer for high profile collaborations: set and own our production schedule, and make budget and resourcing trade-offs to ensure milestones are met. Track and evaluate milestones for each production, ensuring that the creative and technical vision guides all major decisions.
- Participate in pitch meetings and evaluate potential projects for collaboration by reading scripts, analyzing production plans, etc.
- Serve as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, driving transparent decision-making and ensuring cross-organizational decisions align with GDM objectives.
- Address ambiguous problems including high-risk technical issues by utilizing existing systems or developing entirely new production methods. Responsible for relaying production needs and partner feedback to our research teams.
- Provide direction and accomplish results through leading others; foster a collaborative, respectful environment, where the crew is encouraged to take risks for the good of the projects.
